Before you can get paid for your sales, Frippy asks you to verify your identity. It's a quick step that keeps the whole marketplace safe and trustworthy.
Why we verify sellers
Verification helps us:
- Keep buyers and sellers safe from fraud.
- Make sure your payouts reach you, and only you.
- Meet the checks Stripe is required to run before it can pay you in Australia.
How it works
Verification is handled securely by Stripe, our payment provider. When you're ready to get paid, you'll be guided through a short process to confirm your details. Frippy never sees or stores your ID or bank details. Stripe takes care of that directly.
When you'll be asked
You can browse, list items, and chat without verifying. Verification comes in when there's money on the line, so you'll be prompted to complete it before you can create a shipping label or receive a payout. Getting it done early means your first sale goes through smoothly.
Already verified?
Once you're verified, the money from each completed sale lands in your Frippy balance, and you withdraw it to your bank whenever you like. Now and then, Stripe may ask you to confirm a detail to keep your account in good standing.
