Every order on Frippy is shipped and tracked. There's no local pickup, and that's on purpose: shipping every item means every transaction is covered by Buyer Cover and has tracking from door to door.
How shipping costs work
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the item's estimated weight and size, and where it's going. You'll always see the shipping cost before you pay, so there are no surprises.
Buying a few things from the same seller? Pop them in a bundle and the shipping is combined into one parcel, which usually works out cheaper than buying separately.
How parcels are sent
Frippy works with trusted Australian carriers, and the buyer picks the rate that suits them at checkout. Once they do, your prepaid label is generated for you. You don't need to organise postage yourself, it's all set up on your order page.
For sellers: posting an order
Once an item sells, your prepaid shipping label is ready on your order page. Pack the item securely, attach the label, and either drop the parcel off at the carrier's location shown on it or book the free home pickup where the app offers one. Posting on time matters, since orders that aren't sent within 5 business days shown at checkout can be automatically cancelled and refunded to the buyer.
Please use the label provided through Frippy rather than your own postage, so tracking and Buyer Cover stay attached to the order.
Tracking your order
Every order has tracking. You can follow your parcel's progress on your order page, in the app or on the web, from the moment the seller posts it to the moment it lands.
When delivery is confirmed
Delivery is marked complete when you confirm you've received your item on your order page, in the app or on the web, or automatically 72 hours after the carrier marks it delivered if you don't raise a dispute. We'll send you a reminder along the way so you don't miss your window.
